Wachan Bajiyoperak
Wachan Bajiyoperak, born and raised in Cusco Peru comes from a lineage of Medicine People. His lineage is related to the Waro Panaca, a pre-Inka Society. He has received the teaching of both his Mother and father. His Mother was a gifted Midwife and skilled herbalist. Wachan's father was a very well-known Chawpy Misa carrier ( Inka priest ) "I feel blessed to have been born in such a sacred land, and to have the privilege of caring on the ancient teachings and following the path of the ancient ones."
At the age of 7 Wachan's mother gifted him a Quena (Andean flute) to nourish his musical gifts. One day by the riverside she gifted him this special flute saying " this will be your lifelong friend." within a few days Wachan was already playing the traditional songs his mother would sing daily. From this day on Wachan began his journey as a Harawico which translates to Alchemist of Sound.

At the age of 7 this playful boy, Wachan would accidentally brake his flute, his loving mother would replace it with a new one every time it broke, until one day she stopped bringing new flutes. This was the day that Wachan began building his flutes. Since this day he has been building the traditional instruments of the Andes and studying the pre-Inka and Inka instruments.

In the 1980's Wachan and the Japanese icon Iso Tomita made a music video in the Nazca Lines of Peru, called " Song of the Universe " he later performed in Japan with the ocarina Master, Sojiro in Japan. This was the beginning of Wachan's journey through the world sharing his music.
In the 1970s Wachan founded his first musical group " Apu Pachatusan" a cultural Group whose mission is to study, practice, and keep the ancient heritage and ancient music alive.

Currently, Wachan travels around the world, sharing the teaching of the ancient ones, through workshops, conferences, Plant Medicine Ceremonies, and spiritual retreats in the Andes of Peru.
Wachan considers himself a Harawico, which translates to Alchemist of Sound. He is a gifted Inka and pre-Inka instrument builder, composer, and keeper of the sacred Andean Music. Wachan is a skilled sound therapist, herbalist, and Plant Medicine facilitator, helping people reconnect with themselves, through Mother Earth, Pachamama.

Wachuma is cactus from the Andes of Peru that has been used by Inka and Pre-Inka Civilizations for thousands of years to raise the collective consciousness of our societies and to connect Mankind with the spirit world.

In the last 20 years, Wachuma and Ayahuasca have become very popular around the world because of their healing powers, at the same time this popularity has revealed a group of people from around the world who are confusing and misleading our ancient ways of ceremony that has been passed down generation after generation here in the Andes, claiming they are "shamans". These confused people are misusing the power of the sacred plants for their own greed. Love is not blind, love is wise.
My purpose and mission is to share with the world the magic and power of the Plant Medicine Wachuma in its authentic form in a safe and appropriate environment and to guide you into the magical and powerful land of the Andean Civilizations, Peru ."
Throughout the year, Wachan and his Family ( the Willkasara Medicine Family) travel around the world providing these teachings and ceremonies to those who are ready for transformation and healing, through seminars, workshops, retreats, sound healing, Plant Medicine Ceremonies, and healing session. At the end of the year, the Willkasara Medicine Family co-facilitates a New Years' silent meditation retreat with Rev. Micheal Bernard Beckwith to welcome the new year through meditation and Andean ceremonies.

Wachan Bajiyoperak
Martika Gomez, descendent of the Kogi people, the keepers of harmony for humanity in the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta Colombia, has dedicated her life to carrying on the legacy of the Kogi people. Sharing the teachings of keeping the connection, peace, and harmony with Mother Nature and the Universe. At the age of 7, Martika had an awakening with Mother Earth that transformed her life in all ways, from this moment she knew she would always be taken care of by Mother Earth. From this early age, Martika has been on many pilgrimages to the sacred mountains to gather the sacred music and ceremonies of the Andes of Colombia and Peru.

In 1996 Martika and Wachan began their journey together as soul mates, sharing the teaching of the Yanantin ( the Balance of the Masculine and feminine energies of the universe ), the Alchemy of Sound and Healing through Plant Medicine, across Japan, Hawaii, Germany, France, Colombia, Peru, and the United States.

In 1998 Martika and Wachan were blessed with their daughter Shiqwarkenty, since the moment of her birth she participated in all ceremonies and rituals, and as a family, they continue to share and expand the teaching of family integration.

"It has been a blessing for me to be able to integrate our family in our traditions and spiritual practices because our legacy will be carried on by our daughter, and the next generations.
Our work is to keep our traditions alive, to inspire the young ones to care for and look after Mother Earth. Through the power of the sounds, we have access to many different portals and doorways that help us connect with the Great Spirit. I have found love and connection with the heartbeat of life through the sacred drum and a way of prayer by signing our traditional songs that are sung in a high pitch. This is a way to connect with the spirit of nature. We have different songs for every event that takes place in our lives, from birth to death, all are accompanied by the sacred sound.
Through the Sacred Plant Medicine Wachuma, we can connect with the spirit of forests and all of the medicines that are in nature. We have the access to tap into, reconnect, and heal ourselves in a very profound way. Our ancestors believed that Wachuma Plant Medicine had the key to the heavens and the spirit realm. Wachuma is such a gentle and loving Medicine, that speaks to us through Mother Earth.
Through Wachuma I have witnessed so many miracles, by seeing how people in our medicine circle heal in a way they never thought possible. I am honored to be a keeper of Wachuma Plant medicine with my family in this time of great confusion where many people are misleading this sacred connection with Wachuma that is passed down generation after generation. Our work as a family is to be the keepers of Wachuma with great respect and love and share it with those who are ready to heal and grow in a safe and authentic environment."

Shiqwarkenty Bajiyoperak
Shiqwarkenty Bajiyoperak was born and raised in Laq'o "the temple of the moon"- in Cusco Peru. Shiqwarkenty (pronounced, "Siwar Qente" means "Royal Hummingbird in her native language Quechua. Shiqwarkenty has participated in sacred ceremonies since she was born and grew up in the sacred temple of Sacsayhuaman, Qneq'o, Puka Pukara, and Laq'o.
At the age of four, she started her musical life and career. At that age, she participated for the first time in one of the most important ceremonies hosted in Cusco for the winter solstice- called the Inti Raymi where she was one of the youngest participants allowed in this sacred ceremony celebrating her preparation in the spiritual path.. Ever since she has been participating in this yearly winter solstice ceremony to welcome the Andean New Year in Peru. Shiqwarkenty has been undergoing her spiritual preparation with her Parents for 20 years now. Learning her ancient ways, Teachings, sacred songs, and Healing with the Sacred Plant Medicines of her land, home of the Incas and Quechua Nation.
In 2008 Shiqwarkenty began participating in many important conferences to raise our consciousness such as Global New thought, women Arising conference, Agape international spiritual center, Elevate film festival and New Year's Meditation retreats with Reverend Michael Bernard Beckwith, where she released her first meditation CD. Shiqwarkenty has touched the hearts of thousands, around the world. She has been featured in different documentaries like, return to Dawn, and Time of the Sixth sun celebrating her wisdom and her rich culture. She is caring for the seeds of hope for our future generations.

In her voice she has a the powerful gift of song to open the hearts and heal the souls of our nations. Shiqwarkenty continues to follow the ancient ways of her family, becoming the 4th generation medicine keeper of her family.

As keepers of the medicines, we have the sacred duty to prepare our people on every level to experience the magic and healing of Huachuma and other Sacred Medicines, with respect, an open heart, and clean intentions.
